For this method, you need a siphoning hose of desirable length. One thing is to remember, a bigger hose drains water faster than a smaller hose of the same length. So, in this time-consuming process, the more you can save time the better.
After you have found the right hose length, insert one side to the above-ground pool and connect the other side to a tap. Then, start the tap and let water flow into the hose, emptying it. Stop the tap and remove the garden hose while pointing toward the ground. This will drain the water from the pool to the ground and complete the siphoning process.
The siphoning hose as an alternative to pump drains water from the pool. After the pool is empty, you refill it with fresh water. This process takes a lot of your time and to get the desired result you need to repeat this process twice or thrice.
